Get excited for the Pittsburgh East Hills Young Life 5k and Donut Dash! Whether you run, jog, walk, or dare to enter the Donut Dash Extreme we guarantee you will have a great time and help teens in Penn Hills and Woodland Hills. This event is for everyone, not just (but not excluding) the serious runner. This years event will NOT be on any public road ways to ensure your comfort and safety! Contestants can either run or walk a regular 5k for time, or participate in the Donut Dash Extreme which will test your physical and gastrointestinal endurance! We will run, eat, laugh and enjoy the day together all while helping teens in our communities.
Registration is only $25 through July 31st, $30 through the day of the race. Children 8 to 12 are only $10! Children 8 and under are FREE! Students receive $5 off regular registration! (Use the coupon code STUDENT)

This will be a professionally timed 5k event and USTAF sanctioned. The course starts at the first telephone pole on Aster. Turns right onto Saltsburg to the far Alcoma Drive. Make a left on Alcoma and run the length of Alcoma and make the right back on Saltsburg. Back to Aster right down drive past soccer field right past softball field around school and finishes by entrance to admin. -
Donut Dash Extreme

This race follows the same route as the 5K but will have to eat donuts holes (either a random number or progressively more...TBD) at the beginning and after each K.
