Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 44th Annual Pete Sanfilippo Holiday Run on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, in the charming village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess. This beloved event features a scenic 5-mile run that is USATF certified, ensuring an exciting and competitive experience for runners of all levels. Additionally, young athletes can participate in the Kids One Mile Run, making this a perfect day for families to come together and celebrate the spirit of the season.
Participants can register at the Knights of Columbus Hall, with registration opening at 8:00 AM. The Kids One Mile Run kicks off at 9:15 AM, followed by the 5-mile race at 9:30 AM. Pre-registration is just $20 for the 5-mile race and free for kids, while on-the-day registration is $25 and $10, respectively. The first 200 registered runners will even receive a festive holiday winter hat! After the races, join us for refreshments, holiday music, and awards, with cash prizes for the top finishers. Don’t miss the special appearance from Santa, who will be available for pictures—so bring your holiday cheer!

This years event will include a 5 mile scenic run through the village of Wappingers Falls. The course is now USATF certified! We will also have a Kids One Mile Run. Both races start and finish at the Knights of Columbus Hall in downtown Wappingers. This will be the 44th anniversary of this classic race.
5 MILE RACE IS $20 IF PRE-REGISTERED AND $25 THE DAY OF THE RACE. KIDS 1 MILE IS FREE IF PRE-REGISTERED AND $10 THE DAY OF THE RACE.
MHRRC MEMBERS RECEIVE A $5 DISCOUNT ONLY IF PRE-REGISTERED.
WE HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH THE NORTH POLE AND WE PLAN TO HAVE A SPECIAL APPEARANCE FROM SANTA HIMSELF. HE WILL BE AROUND FOR THE KIDS RACE AND AFTERWARDS FOR PICTURES IN THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL.
