HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Start 2026 on the right foot with the Peninsula Track Club and York High School Cross Country & Track & Field at the New Years Day 5K!
This annual event welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers to enjoy a fast, nearly flat course through the scenic trails of Newport News Park one of the largest municipal parks in the country. Course judges will be on-site to verify the walker division.
All proceeds benefit York High School Cross Country and Track & Field, helping fund equipment, uniforms, and meet expenses.

950 AM: Bib pick-up & Race Day Registration
10:00 AM: Race Start (on Constitution Way in front of the Ranger Station, heading toward Jefferson Ave.)
~11:00 AM: Awards Ceremony

Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male & Female in each group:
19 & Under, 2029, 3039, 4049, 5059, 6069, 7079, and 80+
