After crossing the finish line, don’t miss the chance to celebrate with food and drink vendors, capture memories with your custom finisher medal, and mingle with fellow participants. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with light snacks and refreshments, and vendor/sponsor booths. Walkers and runners will start the race at 9 a.m. Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, with participants surrounded by aircraft.
The Race the Runway 5.02K is the final race of the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. Everyone who completed the entire Mayorthon race series will receive a Mayorthon Challenge Coin during a ceremony led by Mayor Craig Greenberg.
Participants are encouraged to hang back after the race to enjoy food and drink vendors and take pictures with their custom finisher medals and Mayorthon Challenge Coins.
