Red Coyote Running & Fitness is proud to coordinate pace leaders for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and the Red Coyote Half Marathon. Many of our pacers have years of experience and share their talents at multiple events across the country each year. Our pace team members are committed to the success of the runners in their "pack" and work to ensure the best possible event experience. Pacers selected for our team will serve as ambassadors for Red Coyote, the Memorial Marathon, and Oklahoma City as a whole. We are very excited to kick off the 2025 season and welcome new and returning members to the Red Coyote Pack Pacers!

  • OCMM Half Marathon Pacer

    The OKC Memorial Half Marathon winds through downtown, Bricktown, past the State Capitol, through northeastern Oklahoma City and through beautiful city parks and neighborhoods. Crowds of spectators line the course to cheer runners on. And along the way, 168 banners each bearing the name of one of those killed in the Oklahoma City bombing reminds us of Why We Run. The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is the largest fundraiser for the privately owned and operated Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. As an additional benefit to running in any of the races, each participant will receive one free admission to the Museum. Runners in the Half Marathon will have 4.5 hours of course support starting from when the last corral is released from the Start Line. If you are not at Mile 9 by 10:00am, you will be shuttled back to Scissortail Park to enjoy the Finish Line Festival.

    The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a Boston qualifying USATF sanctioned event on a certified 26.2-mile single-loop course. Its been rated one of 12 must-run marathons by Runners World magazine. The OKC Memorial Marathon winds through downtown, Bricktown, past the State Capitol, through northeast Oklahoma City and through some of the citys most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. Crowds of spectators line the course to cheer on runners. And along the way, 168 banners each bearing the name of one of those killed in the Oklahoma City bombing reminds us of Why We Run. Runners in the Marathon will have 6.5 hours of course support starting from when the last corral is released from the Start Line. If Marathon runners are not to the course split at Mile 7.5 by 8:45am, they will be directed to the Half Marathon course. To complete the Marathon without being disqualified, you need be at mile 20 by noon, or you will be shuttled to Scissortail Park to enjoy the Finish Line Festival.
  • Red Coyote Half Marathon Pacer

    The Red Coyote Half Marathon will start and finish at Scissortail Park near the Loves Travel Stage are. We run down the main promenade across the Skydance Bridge on the way to the Oklahoma River Trails. The out and back route runs through both the upper and lower parks before turning east on SW15th Street to Walker Avenue. Runners cross the bridge over the Oklahoma River then turn from Walker into Wiley Post Park to join the south river trail. We'll follow the trail to the west until we reach the turn point just past the River Cruise Pavilion. Along the way we'll pass the Wheeler Ferris Wheel, the Stockyard City Sign, and the Dell Corporate Campus. We'll return to the finish following the same route. The course is flat to gently rolling with only 38 feet of elevation difference with the Skydance Bridge comprising the biggest hill. This route is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities.
