Children aged 5 and under can take part for free alongside an adult, while children under 18 can register for just $25, which includes a T-shirt and professional timing. Adults can register for $35, also receiving a T-shirt and timing. Don’t forget to register by September 1st to guarantee your shirt! World Relief Durham serves refugees and other immigrants who have settled in the U.S. through a variety of programs. Durham has long supported newcomers and their families through annual events like Durham Refugee Day, held every June.
Join us for WRD's 2nd Run for Refugees 5K on September 27, 2025! We hope to welcome WRD supporters and new friends into a community of like-minded people and celebrate the rich diversity of backgrounds in our area.
