Kick off the New Year with the exhilarating Spa Pacer Winter Series 2024, taking place in the picturesque Hot Springs, Garland from January 1 to January 27. This exciting event invites runners of all levels to stay active and have fun while navigating a series of four races throughout the month. For just a $25 entry fee, participants can enjoy four unique races, receive a stylish long-sleeve tech t-shirt, and have the chance to win fabulous prizes from local businesses!
The series begins on January 1 with the Resolution Run, a free event that encourages everyone to start the year on the right foot. Runners will gather at the Adkisons house at 8:00 AM, with a group picture at 7:45. Following this, the Cedar Glades Trails Challenge on January 6 offers approximately 4 miles of rugged terrain, while the Hot Springs/North Mountain Challenge on January 13 features another 4-mile trek over scenic North Mountain. Rounding out the series, participants can take part in the Dam Fun Run Challenge at Stephens Park on January 20, covering about 3.5 miles, and finish strong with the Northwoods Freeman Trail Challenge on January 27, which showcases the beautiful and sometimes

Pacers and friends, now that the Spa Running Festival is over and the weather is turning colder, how are you staying active? We have just the thing to keep you moving. Join us with the 2024 Spa Pacer Winter Series! One $25 entry fee registers you for 4 races through the month of January. Thats $25 for 4 races, a long-sleeve tech t-shirt, and a whole lot of fun! There will also be chances to win prizes from local businesses!
JANUARY 1: RESOLUTION RUN. Start time is 8:00 AM, group picture at 7:45. This run is free and open to the public. Challenge yourself to get out and get moving on the first day of the new year! Join us at the Adkisons house, on Pecan Street. Trail and road options available.
JANUARY 6: THE CEDAR GLADES TRAILS CHALLENGE. Start time is 8:00 AM. Approximately 4 miles on the rugged and challenging Cedar Glades trails.
JANUARY 13: THE HOT SPRINGS/NORTH MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE. Start time is 8:00 AM. Approximately 4 miles overt the top of North Mountain and back down around the Mountain Tower and switchbacks.
January 20: THE DAM FUN RUN CHALLENGE AT STEPHENS PARK (Blakely Mountain Dam). Start time is 8:00 AM. Approximately 3.5 miles.
January 27: THE NORTHWOODS FREEMAN TRAIL CHALLENGE. Start time is 8:00 AM. About 4 miles on the scenic (and sometimes technical) Freeman Trail at Northwoods.
