WHAT IS THE INDIANA AREA EDUCATION FOUNDATION?
The Indiana Area Education Foundation [https://www.iasd.cc/apps/pages/educationfoundation] is a charitable organization founded by community members who are committed to making a difference in our community. IAEF has made big strides this past year in funding initiatives, improvements, student athletics and clubs, and more! Your donations make a direct and lasting impact within our district and we are tremendously grateful for the support that we receive. This year alone we have supported school projects like the Green Bandana Project, provided weight sleds for our SH fitness center, helped the SH Dance Team compete in their first ever national competition, and much more!
REGISTRATION:
Participants who register prior to May 1st are guaranteed a shirt, designed by Mrs. Cobb's fifth grade class at Horace Mann Elementary School. Please register early to guarantee your shirt!
There will be no registration reimbursements - if you cannot make it to the event, remember that your registration fee is going to support our district students!
RACE PACKET PICKUP:
Details about the race packet pickup will be coming soon. If you cannot pick up your race packet and are unable to come to the event, you MUST pick up your race packet from IAEF at 501 East Pike Road (Admin entrance, not EP Elementary). Packets and shirts will NOT be mailed out.
COURSE INFORMATION:
See map below. The 5K is a challenging cross-country course which will begin at the lower pavilion and go around the baseball fields, over to East Pike, around the soccer fields, up a steep, rocky hill, and snake back around to the finish. The 1-mile inclusive "fun run" will be on the paved paths around the baseball fields. We are proud to offer an inclusive and friendly paved route so that everyone can participate!
