As we celebrate the 14th Anniversary of this event, we look forward to a beautiful morning on campus while also offering a nationwide virtual race for those who cannot join us but still want to support the race. You can join us for a great event at St. Thomas or run from wherever you are as an individual or a team!

The scenic 5K route takes you through Coral Gables and Pinecrest, starting and finishing at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School in Coral Gables.

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES

Family Donor Package: This package includes up to four 5K runners, sponsorship of two Breakthrough Miami runners, and a $80 donation for a price of $250. To purchase this package, please select Family Donor Package for up to 4 race participants. You will only be charged $250 plus registration fee at checkout. Please fill in the registration information for each participant in your family.

Sponsorship Packages: To support the race through your company or family, there are a number of sponsorship opportunities. Please email vcastro@stepsmia.org to receive details on the sponsorship levels and benefits.

TEAMS

Participants can register as individuals or as part of a team. Teams must have a minimum of five runners to be scored (you will also be scored as individual runners). There is no maximum limit to the number of runners on a team. The top five fastest times per team will be used for scoring purposes. New teams cannot be created on race day.

MEDALS

Prizes to the top three runners in age and gender-specific categories will be awarded, as well as the fastest Breakthrough Miami runner, fastest overall male and female runners, and fastest team.

FIELD

Relax and enjoy refreshments and activities on the field after you finish your race and await the results and award ceremony.

Proceeds benefit Breakthrough Miami (a program that targets high-potential, motivated students from under-resourced backgrounds and provides the tools necessary for them to graduate high school and go on to college). We will be collecting school supplies to support the Breakthrough Miami summer programming. You can bring supplies and donate them in the bins on the field or donate through Breakthrough's Amazon Wish List link: https://breakthrough.miami/supplylove

NICKLAUS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL SCA SCREENINGS

For children ages 5-21 whose guardian/parents have preregistered them, NCH will provide no-charge pediatric EKG screenings to detect conditions which may contribute to Sudden Cardiac Arrest. A link to the registration form will be sent on January 29th.

OTHER

For everyone's safety, walkers and participants with strollers and dogs should line up at the back of the start line to let the competitive runners line up in the front.
