Challenges give us the opportunity to have mini goals that lead us to larger goals. They also give us a chance to escape the stressors of everyday life or help keep us on track for a healthier lifestyle of longevity and independence. The Summer Vibes Challenge, will start on July 4th and to be completed by September 1st, 2025. The Challenge is to keep you moving throughout the summer, we offer a cool Summer Vibe Medal for the challenge. You pick the day, time and place so whenever and wherever you want, that is the flexibility of a virtual challenge. This is Your Race at Your Pace!

Summer Vibes Virtual Challenge, you can RUN, WALK, RIDE, STEPS, SWIM OR A COMBINATION, (limit 1/2 distance ride miles, 2000 steps = 1 mile for a non-workout day) Here are your challenge choices -

* Summer Vibes Challenge - 60 miles from Wesley Chapel to Ft. DeSoto Beach
* Summer Vibes Challenge - 115 miles from Wesley Chapel to Gasparilla Island/Park
* Summer Vibes Challenge - 230 miles from Wesley Chapel to Gasparilla Island/Park and back to Wesley Chapel

Summer Vibes Challenge participants will have have add on options: The SUMMER VIBES MEDAL and have the option to add the Summer Vibes SHIRT! The shirt is a light blue (ocean) unisex sports tee with moisture-management fabric keeps you cool and dry during all activities. This modern classic fit of 50% cotton, 50% polyester, that styles easily and available in adult sizes S-3XL

* Track your progress on this Challenge's RunSignup race page, by clicking RESULTS and click on Submit Virtual Results. Finish times must be posted by the end of the month. You will be able to Visibly "see" where you are on the map virtually to your destination, see your progress on the tracking bar and receive milestone badges achieved along. A link to log your miles will be emailed to you, the morning the challenge starts (July 4th, 2025) or use the Results button as stated.

* Medal & Shirts (if you choose these options) will ship separately after registration closes (August 9, 2025); you must have a US address for shipping. All runners and walkers will receive badges along the way and a finishers certificate. Even if you don't finish in the time allotted, we know you will eventually, because of our We Can Runners attitude!
