The day kicks off bright and early, with same-day registration and packet pick-up starting at 6:45 AM. The race begins at 8:00 AM, ensuring a fun-filled morning for all! After the 5K, there will be a special kids race to engage our youth in the community. Plus, enjoy post-race refreshments and the thrill of chip timing for all participants. Awards will be presented in various categories for both adults and youth, making this an inclusive event for the whole family. Don’t forget, parking is available at Our Saviour Catholic Church, and dogs are welcome on leashes. Come be part of this uplifting community event and support a great cause!

Organiser's Description
The Friends of the Poor Walk is a _nationwide signature event_ of the SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL. This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Council of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.
This will be a 5K out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood. We will have a kids race after the 5K is completed.
Post-race refreshments will be available for participants.

Packet Pick-up will be located at Cocoa Beach Health and Fitness @ 1355 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 on Friday, 9/26 from 4:00-7:00p.m.
