For our first race in the series, the 25th Annual Olmsted Spirit 5k Coming up on Sunday, May 7 we will be offering two early packet pick up days plus race day pick up!

Welcome to our Official Inaugural Year of The Olmsted Spirit Race Series!  Last year we offered a preview of all four races to you, however, we did not have the official race series registration page and perks that will be offered to you now! 
 
***Participants who sign up for the Race Series Will Receive The Following:
A Series Soft Style Crew Neck
A Special custom Race Series Medal (will be available at the final race of the year, The Olmsted Ugly Sweater Run) 
No waiting in lines at packet pick-up!  You will receive your bib(s) through the mail or it will delivered to you by us! 
20 Bonus Points added to your total Race Series Championship Score!
A Race Series Participant Only Post-Race Series Party in December!
***The Overall Female and Male Series Winner will each receive a Grand Prize of $1,000!

The 2nd Annual Olmsted Red2Blue Station Run - Sunday, July 9, 2023 (Timed 5k Run/Walk, 1-Mile Untimed Free Run/Walk, Kids Fun Run)
The 2nd Annual Olmsted Spooky Spirit Run - Sunday, October 8, 2023 (1 and 2-mile timed Run, 2-mile Untimed Walk, Kids Costume Fun Run)
The 5th Annual Olmsted Ugly Sweater Run - Sunday, December 10, 2023 (Timed 1-Mile Run, 1-Mile Walk, Untimed Kids Reindeer Rush - 400 meters)
Participants who sign up for all 4 races will be given the option to enter into our official Race Series League (explained below).     Overall winners of the Race Series will be recognized at our Post Race Series Participant Only Holiday Party in December! 
 
OLMSTED SPIRIT RACE SERIES SCORING:
 
We will use a point system based on results from each race.  The Top Overall and Age Group Winners will receive points at each of the four events.  
The Top Female/Male runners will only earn one award (i.e. an individual can win the overall category or age group, but not both in the following):
* Top 3 Female/Male Overall
* Top F/M in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70
TOP 10 F/M OVERALL POINTS (each race):
1ST - 20 Pts, 2ND - 18 Pts, 3RD - 16 Pts, 4TH - 14 Pts, 5TH - 12 Pts, 6TH - 10 Pts, 7TH - 8 Pts, 8TH - 6 Pts, 9TH - 4 Pts, 10TH - 2 Pts
TOP 10 F/M IN EACH AGE GROUP (each race):
1ST - 10 Pts, 2ND - 8 Pts, 3RD - 7 PTs, 4TH - 6 Pts, 5TH - 5 Pts, 6TH - 4 Pts, 7TH - 3 Pts, 8TH - 2 Pts, 9TH - 1 Pt, 10TH - 1 Pt
***In the event of a tie:
1) Winner will be determined by who has won the most often
2) Greater number of events completed
3) The person who won/placed higher in the Olmsted Spirit 5k
***FOR PEOPLE WHO SIGN UP FOR THE COMPLETE RACE SERIES AND ENTER THE RACE SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE SUNDAY, MAY 7 YOU WILL RECEIVE A 20 POINT BONUS TO YOUR FINAL SCORE!

You can still sign up for any of our races individually if you are not interested in participating in our Race Series League!   - $30/race for the the Main Timed Race at each event (i.e. Olmsted Spirit 5k, Red2Blue Station 5k, Spooky 2-Mile Trail Race, Ugly Sweater 1-Mile Run)
***$30 registration price Opens January 1, 2023 for all four main races.  The price will increase for each race about a week prior to each event, respectively.  
All Kid Runs will be $10 starting January 1, 2023.  The price of each kids run will increase $5 about a week prior to each event, respectively.  
 
***We created a handful of special Series Pass Postcards we are handing out to certain fundraising events that have a raffle or to select overall winners in our races.  The Series Pass includes free registration to each event in our series.  However, it does not include our Race Series Crew Neck that is included in registration for those who pay.  The reason for this is their a cost to the crew neck sweaters that would cause us to lose a lot of money if we handed them out to free to the winners of these passes.  If you win one of these passes and would like to purchase a crew neck, the cost is $40.  If you have any questions about this, please email us!
