Our parent-coach system ensures safety and support throughout the event, with clearly marked routes featuring beautiful lake views. Wave starts begin at 3:00 PM, with check-in opening at 2:30 PM. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable running shoes (no metal cleats). We recommend sun protection, a change of clothes, and a small towel. Don't forget your camera to capture holiday memories. Parent or guardian presence is required throughout the event. Park entry is included in registration fee. The event runs rain or shine, unless severe weather threatens participant safety. With a participant limit, early registration is encouraged. Located at 2805 Pace Bend Road North, Spicewood, TX 78669, Pace Bend Park provides the perfect setting for young runners to celebrate their achievements while building confidence and athletic skills. Join us for age-appropriate running events designed specifically for young athletes ages 2-12. Our series features six regular events (plus two special celebration races) throughout 2025, each tailored to make running fun and achievable for every participant. Same-day registration is available at all events if space permits. Registration opens at 2:30 PM and closes 30 minutes before the start time. The same-day registration fee is $30, an increase from our advance registration rate. Space is limited and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All same-day registrations require a parent or guardian to be present to complete the registration form, sign the waiver, and provide age verification. Parent-coach assignment will be made at registration. Due to our focus on safety and quality experience for all participants, we cannot guarantee same-day registration will be available. Early online registration is strongly recommended to secure your spot and receive the advance registration rate. No registrations will be accepted after wave start times have begun.
