Organiser's Description
TRI GAME SPORTSTRADE MARK is a middle and high school multisport (ages 14-18) training program that provides all the necessary equipment young athletes need to start out and excel in the sport of triathlon. It includes swim instruction, cycling (on our new fleet of Trek bikes that will be used on stationary, "smart" trainers in a "gamified" atmosphere), and running skills. Our athletes can "TRI out" their newly developed or enhanced skills at the end of the season with a TRI Game Sportstrade mark racing event that is exciting and fun and participate in local triathlon events!
Through the sport of triathlon, we are opening doors of opportunity for new NCAA women's college scholarships, college TRI club teams, and lifelong sporting skills. Currently, over 40 colleges are providing NCAA scholarships for women and over 80 colleges have club teams!
Most importantly, we are developing an atmosphere of camaraderie while encouraging kids to dig deep, develop skills of athleticism, perseverance and determination so they can cross any finish line with confidence!
FALL SESSION RUNS THROUGH NOVEMBER 6TH AND YOU CAN JOIN ANYTIME IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
You can register for 1x per week or train both days: The option for both will show up upon registering for one.
Mondays are in Annapolis at the Ann Arundel Olympic Swim Center
3:30 - 3:50 - arrival at pool on Riva Road, unload the bike trailer, set up bikes, uniforms
3:50 - 4:00- team warmups, strength & challenges
4 - 5:30- swim / bike / run training
Wednesdays are in Glen Burnie at the North Arundel Swim Center
5:15pm -5:30 - arrival at pool on Riva Road, unload the bike trailer, set up bikes, uniforms
5:30pm - 5:45pm - team warmups, strength & challenges
5:45pm - 7:15pm- swim / bike / run training
