While online registration is closed and the event is officially sold out, there’s still a chance for you to join in on the fun. Embrace the spirit of community by participating in our untimed 5K Fun Run—walk it, jog it, or dance your way to the finish line! With a registration fee of just $10, you'll be directly supporting the Pasco Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (PAIR) program, which aims to make recreation accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
The Turtle Trot features a scenic course along paved hiking paths around historic salt mines, offering an incredible experience for all participants. While medals are no longer available, the smiles and good vibes are guaranteed! Don’t miss the packet pickup from 6:45 am to 7:45 am, followed by a pre-race meeting at 7:50 am. Youre welcome to participate in our UNTIMED 5K FUN RUNwalk it, jog it, dance it! SINCE THE EVENT IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT, MEDALS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, BUT THE SMILES AND GOOD VIBES ARE GUARANTEED.
A $10 registration fee will be collected and donated directly to Pasco Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (PAIR). Every step you take helps make recreation more inclusive for all!
The Turtle Trot 10k & 5k is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat! Participants may run or walk any distance.
Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am. A pre-race meeting for both events will begin at 7:50 am.
Every registered participant will receive a finisher award and the top male and female in the timed 10K and 5K will receive an overall award. Note: T-Shirts are an "add-on" during registration so the proceeds from registration can be donated to PAIR.
Proceeds of this event will go to the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR). The PAIR program's mission is to enrich the lives of our diverse community by offering inclusive and adaptive programming within our county parks and recreation system ensuring individuals of all abilities have access to recreational opportunities, fostering a sense of belonging, empowerment, and well-being for everyone.
_The 5th Annual Turtle Trot is in loving memory of Angela Fagan, Program Manager - Community and Outreach at Pasco County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources Department, whose life was cut short due to complications of the COVID-19 virus._
