Veterans Day 5K and 10K

Join us for the exciting Veterans Day 5K and 10K on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at English Landing Park in Parkville, Platte! This uplifting event celebrates and honors the brave individuals who have served our country. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K race, both of which promise an exhilarating experience along with a custom finishers medal for all finishers. Top performers will also have the chance to compete for age group and overall awards, making it a competitive yet festive atmosphere.

In addition to the race, registrants can opt to add a race shirt for an additional fee, ensuring you look great while supporting a noble cause. This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Ed Burnham, a beloved local runner, World War II veteran, and VFW employee. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the VFW Foundation, which provides crucial support to troops abroad, military families in the U.S., and veterans who often go unrecognized.
