Participants can choose to walk a distance of 5K, with registration fees set at $35 for adults, $25 for seniors, and just $10 for students, making it accessible for everyone. Virtual walker options are also available for those who wish to participate from afar.
The day kicks off with sign-in and race day registration from 8:00 am to 8:15 am, leading into an exciting start at 8:30 am. The scenic route takes you through the heart of Everett, culminating with a delightful cook-out at Glendale Park, where you can enjoy lunch and participate in fun activities, including a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Orange Rose Foundation, helping to provide essential advocacy programs for victims of domestic violence. ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Orange Rose Foundation, in collaboration with Mayor DeMaria and the City of Everett, is conducting the 7th annual Walk For Ersilia in honor of our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Ersilia Cataldo. We aim to raise awareness and provide help to the problem of domestic violence and the resulting devastating consequences, especially for women and families. All proceeds from the walk will go directly to the Orange Rose Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. This fund will support victims' advocacy programs that provide comprehensive services to people in our community whose lives have been directly impacted by domestic violence. One such program is the award-winning non-profit Portal To Hope.

COURSE
Exit the Park right on Ferry St, and turn right onto Broadway. Follow to bear right on Lynn St, turn right onto Fuller St. Turn right onto Washington Ave, turn right on Elm St. End back at Glendale Park for lunch, table raffles, and fun!
COOK-OUT IN THE PARK
Immediately following the conclusion of the Walk, lunch will be provided.
50/50 RAFFLE
A 50/50 Raffle will be held. Tickets are $50 and will be available in the morning until they are gone! Live drawing will be held at 12 noon at Glendale Park. For pre-race purchase please get in touch with Jerry Navarra at 617-784-7718 GOOD LUCK!
