Get ready to lace up your walking shoes for the highly anticipated Walk in My Shoes 2026 event on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026! Taking place in the beautiful Satellite Beach, Brevard, this inspiring event invites you to join thousands of participants in a significant 1,500-mile trek across Florida. In honor of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month, every step you take will contribute to the vital fight against child sexual abuse and support survivors on their healing journey.
Kick off your day at the Satellite Beach Church of Christ at 8:30 AM for registration, followed by the walk starting at 9:30 AM. Choose between a scenic 5-mile route to Millennium Beach Park or challenge yourself with the full 8-mile route that leads to Fish Bellies Food Truck. Plus, to make your experience even more enjoyable, an UBER code will be provided for a convenient ride back. Join us in making a difference and spreading awareness – together, we can create a positive impact in our community!

Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for a 5-mile walk to Millennium Beach Park (2155 Jimmy Buffett Mem Hwy Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937) with the opportunity to stop or continue walking our full 8-mile route to Fish Bellies Food Truck (1240 N Hwy A1A Indialantic, FL 32903)! An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back from the walk.

We'll start registration at Satellite Beach Church of Christ at 8:30 AM on Tuesday April 14th, and begin to walk at 9:30 AM. Our first walk section is 5 miles, and we'll take a short water break at the Millennium Beach Park (2155 Jimmy Buffett Mem Hwy Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937). Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to Fish Bellies Food Truck (1240 N Hwy A1A Indialantic, FL 32903) - another 3 miles - where we'll have our final celebration! All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Free ride share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. Please make sure to have the Uber app downloaded to your phone prior to your arrival.
