Kick off the day at the Satellite Beach Church of Christ, where registration begins at 8:30 AM and the walk starts at 9:30 AM. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5-mile route to Millennium Beach Park, with the option to extend the journey to a full 9-mile trek to James H. Nance Park. Plus, to make your experience even more convenient, an UBER code will be provided to help you return from your walk. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference while enjoying the gorgeous Space Coast!

Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for a 5-mile walk to Millennium Beach Park (2155 Jimmy Buffett Mem Hwy Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937) with the opportunity to stop or continue walking our full 9-mile route to James H. Nance Park (201 N Miramar Ave, Indialantic, FL 32903)!
An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back from the walk.

We'll start registration at Satellite Beach Church of Christ at 8:30 AM on Tuesday April 14th, and begin to walk at 9:30 AM. Our first walk section is 5 miles, and we'll take a short water break at the Millennium Beach Park (2155 Jimmy Buffett Mem Hwy Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937). Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to James H. Nance Park (201 N Miramar Ave, Indialantic, FL 32903) - another 4 miles - where we'll have our final celebration! All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Free ride share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. Please make sure to have the Uber app downloaded to your phone prior to your arrival.
