Join us for the inspiring Waterspirit's Walk for Water 2024 on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the beautiful Atlantic Highlands, Monmouth. This uplifting event invites participants to walk a meaningful 3.5 miles—a distance that symbolizes the average journey many people undertake to access safe drinking water worldwide. Starting at the gazebo near the playground at the Atlantic Highlands Marina, walkers will enjoy a scenic route along the Henry Hudson Trail to Popamora Point and back.
Whether you choose to join us for the full round trip or walk a shorter distance, your participation raises awareness about the vital need for access to clean water. Cannot make it on June 8? No worries! You can still be part of this important cause by walking independently or forming a team to walk anywhere, anytime. Globally, the average distance a person has to travel to get potable water is 3.5 miles. Join us as we walk 3.5 miles to raise awareness about the importance of access to the sacred, life-giving element of water.
We will meet at the gazebo near the playground at the Atlantic Highlands Marina and walk the Henry Hudson Trail to Popamora Point, Highlands, and back (approx. 3.5 miles roundtrip). Join Waterspirit for the full 3.5 miles roundtrip walk or come join for as long as you can!
Can't join Waterspirit on June 8? Walk on your own or create your own team of walkers and walk ANYWHERE and ANYTIME for water.
