Since its inception in 2016, the White Chapel Patriots Race has been dedicated to benefiting Michigan veterans and their families, working in partnership with the Michigan Wounded & Returning Warriors Program. A RUN TO BENEFIT MICHIGAN VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
WHITE CHAPEL MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY IS AND REMAINS A BEAUTIFUL RACE SETTING. THE COURSE WINDS THROUGH SERENE AMERICAN FLAG-LINED PRIVATE BOULEVARDS AND PAST STIRRING MONUMENTS DEDICATED TO VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS FROM CONFLICTS AS FAR BACK AS WWI. THERE IS A DISTANCE TO SUIT ANY RUNNER OR WALKER FROM A 1 MILE WALK, 5K AND 10K SET ON A FLAT AND FAST COURSE.
SINCE IT BEGAN IN 2016, THE WHITE CHAPEL PATRIOTS RACE HAS BEEN A CHARITY FUNDRAISER THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MICHIGAN WOUNDED & RETURNING WARRIORS PROGRAM, PART OF THE AMERICAN LEGION FAMILY OF ORGANIZATIONS.
