Taking place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Montgomery, this engaging event invites runners of all levels to participate in a thrilling 5K race. Hosted by the Sunrise Social Club in collaboration with the River Region Runners, the Wildcat Summer Cup promises a unique race experience every second Sunday this summer, starting at 7 AM.
For just $20, participants can secure their bib for the entire series, which includes three exhilarating 5K races at various scenic locations, including Vaughn Road Park, Cloverdale Park, and the Union Station Train Shed. Not only will you have the chance to improve your running times, but you can also indulge in a delightful BYOB potluck brunch after each race. So lace up your shoes, bring your appetite for doughnuts, and join us for a summer filled with camaraderie, competition, and delicious food!

Dont let your race shoes collect dust this summer. Come out and better your 5k and brunch game with the Sunrise Social Club at the River Region Runners sponsored (R3) Wildcat Summer Cup in MGM. Every second Sunday this summer at 7AM well host a 5k at a unique location. Come for the race, stay for the BYOB potluck brunch.
One payment of $20 buys you a bib for the entire series. Thats three 5ks for $20!
The course will be marked and hand timed and very unofficial. Runners will be responsible for keeping their bibs throughout the summer and bringing them to race day. Pickup will be available each race day and sign up will continue for the summer. Lets all get a little faster this summer while eating more doughnuts.
