Race day kicks off early with the marathon starting at 7:00 am, followed by the half marathon at 8:00 am, and the 10K at 8:30 am. Runners will enjoy well-stocked aid stations every five miles and can look forward to a vibrant post-race atmosphere, complete with finisher awards and handcrafted prizes for the top male and female finishers in each category. Whether you're camping at the Bear Head Hammock Recreational Area or staying at a nearby hotel, the Withlacoochee River Trail Marathon promises an unforgettable experience for all participants. COURSE INFORMATION:
The Withlacoochee River Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K are on the hiking and horse trails within the Two Mile Prairie Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest in Lecanto, FL.
BIB PICKUP: Sunday, March 30th. Registration begins 1 hour before the race starts.
START TIMES: Marathon - 7:00 am, Half Marathon - 8:00 am, 10K - 8:30 am. The course will stay open until 2:00 pm for all distances.
AID STATIONS: The three aid stations will have water, electrolyte sports drinks, soda, pickles, chips, and PB&J. Even though aid stations are approximately every 5 miles, every participant must carry a handheld, waist pack, or hydration pack.
POST RACE: Every runner who completes any distance will receive a finisher award. The top three males and females from each distance will also receive a specially handcrafted award. Once you get your award, grab a camp chair, grab a hot dog, and hang out to cheer on other runners!
CAMPING:
The Bear Head Hammock Recreational Area has primitive camping sites in the equestrian campground. However, there isnt a water or power source in the park, so plan accordingly. We have reserved the entire campground and runners are welcome to set up tents, car camp, or RV boondock camp using a generator on Saturday. (3 pm - 7 pm)

ROLLOVER POLICY:
A1 Ultra Events does not have a refund policy. However, registered runners can earn a "rollover credit". The rollover credit option is a 75% credit towards the following year. (Available until 7 days before the race.) Participants who choose this option need to re-register for the race the following year and their credit will be waiting at checkout.
