Kicking off on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and continuing through September 24, this engaging event invites boys and girls of elementary school age to participate in three thrilling one-mile cross country races. Each race will be professionally chipped and timed by Ruble Timing, ensuring a fair and accurate competition for all young athletes.
The schedule is packed with fun, starting with race bib pickup from 4:30 to 5:15 PM, followed by races for different grades: the 3rd graders will race at 5:30 PM, followed by 4th graders at 5:45 PM, and 5th graders at 6:00 PM. Participants will have the chance to earn individual awards, including trophies, medals, and ribbons, as well as team awards for the top-performing groups in each division. The Southwest Youth Mile Race Series consists of three separate one mile cross country races open to all boys and girls of elementary school age. Races will be professionally chipped and timed by Ruble Timing. There will be individual awards AND team awards based on overall scoring by grade and gender.
Location: Indian Trails Park, in the field at the very back of the park
