Get ready for the excitement of the 2026 SARC Summit Athletic Running Club Youth Cross Country event, taking place from August 6th to October 4th, 2026, in the beautiful Cuyahoga Falls, Summit area. This vibrant event welcomes young athletes in grades 1 through 8, offering a fantastic introduction to the world of running. Participants can enjoy practices at various scenic locations, including Silver Springs Park, Goodyear Heights Metro Park, and Virginia Kendall Ledges.
The race schedule features thrilling Sunday afternoon competitions held across multiple locations, including the Tallmadge Invitational and the Green Invitational. Distances vary by age group, with fun runs for the youngest participants at just 400 meters, and more challenging 1.5-mile races for older divisions. The highlight of the event is the All-Star Division, a special one-mile race for individuals with special needs and their siblings, promoting inclusion and community spirit. Join us for a season filled with athleticism, camaraderie, and fun, as we celebrate the joy of running!

Wednesdays, Silver Springs Park

(ages as of September 9/1/2024) 1. Team scoring for Division II and III
Division I 13/14: Run 2 miles 2. Gender specific team and individual
Division II 11/12: Run 1.5 miles awards (only exception is Division V)
Division III 9/10: Run 1.5 miles 3. A runner can run up a division
Division IV 8 an under 1 mile 4. Individual awards for top 20 each race
Division V 6 and under (or 400 meters)
