D.C.s largest and only Turkey Trot is more than a raceits a tradition of compassion and community. On Thanksgiving morning, join thousands of neighbors at FREEDOM PLAZA for SOMES 24TH ANNUAL TROT FOR HUNGER 5K AND LITTLE TURKEY 1-MILER.
Whether youre chasing a personal best, walking with family, or cheering from the sidelines, every stride fuels change. Together, well transform a holiday run into hope for our communitysupporting meals, housing, healthcare, and job training for those most in need.
* IN-PERSON RACE & FESTIVAL: Join us at Freedom Plaza on November 27, 2025 - Thanksgiving morning - for a timed 5K, the Little Turkey 1-Miler, and a family-friendly finisher festival!
* VIRTUAL RACE: From November 1-30, run a 5K from your neighborhood or local park while raising funds and spreading awareness of SOME's mission! Help us reach all 50 states and expand our global participation!
