Organiser's Description
REV3ENDURANCE IS PLEASED TO BRING BACK THE CONQUER THE MOUNTAIN RACE WEEKEND AQUABLAZE. This is a fun race that combines running and watercraft as part of your race route (kayaking for soloist/canoeing for 2 person teams). Participants will travel on foot (running or walking) 2.2 miles via well marked trail around Lake Laura. Once their run is completed the will .9 mile via canoe or kayak and then an cross the finish line for a 5K event or run a second loop and paddle a second time for the 10K race options. The estimated time to finish is 1-2 hours. We have a great course for you to run, paddle, and navigate your way around in an awesome area of the Shenandoah Valley at Bryce Resort and Lake Laura. Well host the race out at Lake Laura to Bryce Resort. Parking will be walking distance from the race the event starting line.
