The 5k run kicks off at 8:30 AM right after the celebratory National Anthem, followed closely by the community walk at 8:33 AM. It's a wonderful opportunity to get active while supporting local high school extracurricular activities, including the Bendle Tiger Youth Football, Bentley Robotics, and the Atherton Theatre Group, as well as honoring our veterans through the Burton VFW Post 2777 and the Burton Police Department. Organiser's Description
Burton Memorial Day 5k is held at Atherton High School. This event started in the mid 1990s and is still going strong today! 5k Run begins promptly after the National Anthem at 8:30am with the walk beginning at 8:33am. Proceeds will be given to the local high school extracurricular groups such as the Bendle Tiger Youth Football, Bentley Robotics, Atherton Theatre Group as well as the Burton VFW Post 2777, Burton Veterans Memorial and the Burton Police Department.
