Welcome to Colby Mountain Trailfest
A grassroots trail running celebration put together by Butte county Sheriffs Search & Rescue team, Chico Velo, and Bidwell Run club. We are bringing together runners, trail advocates, and community members to experience and support the incredible Colby Mountain Trail System.
This event was created with a simple mission: give back to the trails that bring our community together. Every mile run helps support the ongoing development, maintenance, and stewardship of the Colby Mountain trails. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the trail work of Chico Velo Trailworks, helping ensure these trails remain safe, sustainable, and accessible for runners, hikers, and cyclists for years to come.
Colby Mountain Trailfest blends endurance sport with environmental stewardship, creating an event where participants are not only racing through beautiful terrain but also investing in the future of the trails themselves. By participating, you become part of a growing movement focused on community, sustainability, and responsible trail use.
