Join us for the 7th Annual "Hoofin' It For Horses" 5k Trail Run/Walk on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the picturesque Castle Rock Farm in Afton, Albemarle! This exciting event invites participants of all fitness levels to experience the stunning terrain while supporting a noble cause. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely walker, your participation will directly benefit the horses and donkeys of Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue, a dedicated charity rescuing equines since 2008.

Choose to run virtually at your convenience or join us in person on race day for this uplifting experience. After the race, be sure to stick around for the public Open House from 9 AM to 2 PM, where you can meet our beloved equine residents and enjoy a range of educational programs and a tack sale. Don’t forget to bring your festive spirit by wearing costumes for the race! Please remember to leave your furry friends at home, as our horses can be sensitive to the presence of dogs.
