Join us for the Hops for Hope 5K & BrewFest on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, in beautiful St. Charles, Kane! This exciting event combines fitness and fun, featuring a unique twist on the traditional 5K race. Recognized as one of the Top 100 Races in America by BibRave, this timed and certified 5K is perfect for both serious runners and walkers who love beer. The race kicks off from Mount Saint Mary Park, winding through scenic routes including Wheeler Park before returning for the highly anticipated BrewFest.
Participants can look forward to six beer stops along the route, offering delightful 3-ounce samples from local craft breweries. After crossing the finish line, enjoy the BrewFest with 18 beer samples, live music from InFunktious and Bronson Rock, and delicious food from Craft Urban. Plus, don’t miss your chance to support a great cause—proceeds benefit Project Mobility, which provides adaptive cycling opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Last year alone, nearly $20,000 was donated for adaptive bicycles! Come for the race, stay for the brews, and help make a difference at Hops for Hope!

The 5K portion is a twist on the traditional 5K! AWARDED TOP 100 RACES IN AMERICA BY BIBRAVE, our 5K is timed and the course is certified, whether you are a serious runner or walker who loves beer, this event is for you.
The 5K will start at the beautiful Mount Saint Mary Park in St. Charles and head towards Geneva on the scenic path through Wheeler Park and ends back at Mount Saint Mary Park for the BrewFest!
Proceeds benefit Project Mobility's mission to bring adaptive cycling opportunities to the lives of children, adults, and wounded service members with disabilities.
