Event summary
Participants will race in age-appropriate distances, starting with a short 1/8 mile for the youngest runners (ages 3-4) and culminating in a 2-mile run for those aged 13-14. The event aims to educate children about running and encourage them to stay active. Each child will enjoy complimentary snacks and water, with wave starts for the youngest age groups to ensure a smooth experience. Don’t forget, registration is online only and closes the Wednesday before race day—so sign up early! Whether rain or shine, this is a day your child won’t want to miss!

WHY: To educate children about the sport of running and promote a healthy lifestyle.
REGISTRATION IS FREE AND ONLINE ONLY -- In its continued efforts to support youth running in the Lehigh Valley, the LVRR is proud to sponsor every child for this event. REGISTRATION CLOSES THE WEDNESDAY PRIOR TO RACE DAY - THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION..
Races are held rain or shine. In the event of cancellation, all information will be posted by 7:30 AM race day on the LVRR website [https://lvrr.org], on the Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/lehighvalleyroadrunners], and an email will be sent to all those who registered online.
VOLUNTEER: Please sign up online. If we do not have enough volunteers when online registration closes, the event will be cancelled.
AMENITIES: Each participant will receive a water and snack.

3-4 yrs 1/8 mile
5-6 yrs 1/4 mile
7-8 yrs 1/2 mile
9-10 yrs 1 mile
11-12 yrs 1 1/2 miles
13-14 yrs 2 miles
Wave starts for ages 3-6
