Registration is affordable at $35 for adults and just $20 for children aged 1-18, with day-of registration available for $40. As an added incentive, prizes worth $100 will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, along with medals for the top three racers in each age group. OWENSBORO FAMILY YMCA IS PROUD TO HOST THE BBQ 5K ON MAY 10, 2025, DOWNTOWN OWENSBORO.
This race is in conjunction with the 2025 BBQ & Barrels event and the community is
invited to run or walk with us; competitive racers will stage in the front of the start line at
8:00 a.m. and non-competitive racers will be at the back of the start line.
Registration Pricing:
$35 for Adults - $20 for Children 1-18 (registration will discount at the cart)
DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION: $40 (cannot guarantee shirt)
BAG PICK UP will be Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 (5am to 9pm) at the
Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 KY Parkway, Owensboro

Owensboro and Daviess County. It is the celebration of our past, our present, and our
future, bringing together two of Owensboros greatest culinary traditions
unique barbecue and historic Kentucky bourbon.
