WHAT IS SARI CENTER? WE ARE A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING PATIENTS AND FAMILIES FACING CANCER WITH GUIDANCE, EDUCATION, AND ACCESS TO INTEGRATIVE THERAPIES LIKE ACUPUNCTURE, COUNSELING, AND THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE, TO ADDRESS SYMPTOMS EXPERIENCED THROUGHOUT THE CANCER JOURNEY. MY SISTER-IN-LAW BROOKE STUCK BY MY SIDE FROM THE INITIAL SHOCK OF DIAGNOSIS TO BEING MY BEDSIDE NURSE AFTER SURGERY. SHE AND DR. BYRON INTRODUCED ME TO THE SARI CENTER, WHICH HELPED ME GET THROUGH SOME OF MY TOUGHEST MOMENTS. IM HONORED TO CO-CHAIR THIS YEARS 5K WITH BROOKE, TO GIVE HOPE AND HONOR THE MEMORY OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY ON THIS JOURNEY. This event will take place at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida! You can run, walk, or skip, but please no dogs as the park does not allow it; thank you for respecting their rules. Strollers are ok, please be respectful of others, thank you! Packet Pick-Up is 11/15/24 from 3-6 pm at Bikes Palm Beach at 13975 US Hwy 1, Juno Beach, FL 33408 Race start at 7:30 am on Saturday! So if you need to pick up your packet there, please come early, we open at 6:30 am, thank you! -
