All registration fees, just $20 per participant (with children under 13 running for free), will go directly to supporting these children. Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 2, 2025, and be part of THE SUNFLOWER RUN, a 5K run/walk hosted at Markham Woods Church. This fun and family-friendly event brings our community together to support a vital causeHELPING CHILDREN IN UKRAINE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR PARENTS DURING THE WAR. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SUPPORTING THESE CHILDREN.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
* Registration begins at 8:00 AM (includes bib and giveaways).
* Run/walk starts at 9:00 AM, with a scenic route along the Seminole Wekiva Trail.
* Post-run festivities: delicious food, games, and activities for all ages!
* Registration Fee: $20 per participant (proceeds support Ukrainian children).
* Children under 13 run free.
SPECIAL OFFER:
The first 100 people who sign up will receive a branded Sunflower 5K Run t-shirt, based on the availability of sizes. You will be notified if you are one of the first 100 registrants, and you will be able to pick up your t-shirt at the race.
Only those who register before January 30 will receive medals after the run.
