Tamaya Cross Country Run/Walk

Get ready for an exhilarating day of fitness and fun at the 2nd Annual Tamaya Cross Country Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the beautiful surroundings of Bernalillo, Sandoval. Kicking off at 3 PM, this exciting event features multiple race distances designed for participants of all ages. Join in the 10K and 5K Cross Country Run/Walks, both starting at the south side of the Tamaya Wellness Center. There’s also a special Elder Walk for those aged 50 and above, starting at 3:30 PM, ensuring everyone can be part of the action.

This family-friendly event encourages participants to bring their own reusable water bottles, but rest assured, water stations will be available along the courses, along with the NBIII Foundation water truck. After the races, enjoy a refreshing smoothie and snack, and don’t miss out on the food truck for those looking to indulge in delicious offerings. Remember, this event is exclusively for surrounding Pueblo tribal members, Santa Ana tribal members, and PSA tribal employees.
