Participants can look forward to three or four scenic road courses that are perfect for runners and walkers of all ages, including Toms Tiny Trot for kids aged 0-8.

GOBBLER TURKEY TROT NEW LOCATION FOR 2024!
This Thanksgiving, join us at the NEW location for the 13th Annual Gobbler Turkey Trot, hosted by Rock City Running at the MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER, 11121 N. RODNEY PARHAM RD., SUITE 37B, LITTLE ROCK, AR 72212. While weve moved from Hillcrest and The Heights, youll still have three or four course options to enjoy, all for a great cause benefiting the ARKANSAS FOODBANK. This years event will stick to road courses, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable run or walk for everyone!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: The Gobbler Turkey Trot remains a FREE family fun run! Even with the new location the primary goal of this event is to foster fun and fellowship, while making a meaningful contribution to our community by supporting the ARKANSAS FOODBANK. Your entry fee is a donation of canned food, non-perishable items, or cash to help those in need. Over the years, this event has grown to attract more than 1,000+ participants and has helped provide over 12,000 meals. Lets make 2024 another record-breaking year for donations and community support!
SHIRTS AVAILABLE: Event shirts are available for purchase: $25 for adults and $25 for youth. Be sure to register early to secure your shirt and to be eligible for four shoe drawings!
REGISTRATION AND DONATIONS: Though participation is free, we welcome donations to help cover event costs such as porta-potties, insurance, police support, and water stations. You can donate during registration or at the event. Want to donate food but cant make it on Thanksgiving Day? Stop by The Little Rock Athletic Club lobby up to 2 weeks before the event to drop off your donation.
SHOE DRAWINGS- PRE-REGISTERING FOR THE RCR GOBBLER TURKEY TROT not only secures your spot but also guarantees your entry into an exclusive drawing for 1 of 4 pairs of shoes from Altra Running, Hoka, and ON Running! Please note, the drawing is available ONLY for those who have pre-registered, so dont miss your chance! Sign up early to be part of the fun and the drawing!
TOMS TINY TROT: Toms Tiny Trot: Bring the little ones (ages 0-8) to join in the fun with Toms Tiny Trot! This short race around the parking lot is perfect for young runners and walkers and will take place before the main Turkey Trot, ensuring lots of cheers and excitement from the crowd. Kids must be accompanied to the start by a parent or guardian, but you dont have to run with them on this spectator-friendly course. Just get them to the start and cheer them across the finish line!
SANTAS BACK! Santa will be at the event to collect your donations and spread holiday cheer. Dont miss the chance to get a photo with him and let him know how good youve been this year!
BRING YOUR FURRY FRIENDS: Furry Friends: Yes, we love our furry running companions! However, even well-behaved dogs on leashes can sometimes pose a trip hazard for other participants. To keep everyone safe, please keep your dog on a short leash, especially around large crowds and the busy starting area. We cant wait to see you and your four-legged friends there!.
STROLLERS WELCOME: This year, strollers are welcome on all the courses, making it a great event for families with young children!
COURSE OPTIONS: Choose from three fun routes that will take you through scenic areas, all on the road for a smooth and stroller-friendly experience. The run will start and finish at Rock City Running. The course maps are being developed and will be made available before the Turkey Trot and provided on the day of the event.
PLEASE NOTE, there will be VERY LIMITED TRAFFIC CONTROL on these courses, and runners are responsible for their own safety when crossing roads. Remember this is NOT A RACE, so feel free to take your time, enjoy the morning, and focus on fun, fellowship, and giving back to the community.
WATER & REFRESHMENTS: Water will be available on the courses after the run to help you rehydrate.

This run is for kids 0 to 8 years old! It's a short sprint loop around a closed parking lot with volunteers helping them along the way. Kids must be accompanied to the start and away from the finish by a parent or guardian. Your choice if you run with your little runner!!
