The 3rd Rat Race, hosted by the HURON BOOSTER CLUB, is an annual fundraiser to support _all _sports offered at Huron! Home of the River Rats, Huron is a comprehensive high school in the Ann Arbor School District, with a student population of nearly 1900 students. It has one of the largest populations of Schools of Choice students and low-income students in Washtenaw County.

_WHY IS HOSTING IMPORTANT? _ Research shows that high schoolers who participate in sports manage stress better, feel a stronger sense of community, and are at low risk of engaging in risky behaviors. We want to make interscholastic athletics accessible to all students.

HURON STUDENTS AND STAFF _can register for a discounted rate._ Must provide school ID at check-in!

_Event will happen 'rain or shine' so be prepared for whatever Mother Nature sends us! There are no refunds_

5K is chip timed; the MILE is an untimed event with a running clock provided.

DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION/PICKUP/CHECK-IN: Opens at 830 and will be located underneath Huron's iconic 'Arch' at the heart of campus

PARKING - can be made in the campus lots. Preferred location is the lot by the football stadium or the lot by the Huron Spirit Rock / Tennis courts. Entrances to both off of Fuller Road.
