WHAT IS DREAM MILE?
The first Dream Mile was organized by Vibha volunteers in Atlanta in October 1998. The Dream Mile is a Run / Walk Fundraiser event organized by Vibha, with the anticipated participation of 1,000 patrons from across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The Dream Mile has become a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in various cities across America. To date, The Dream Mile has raised more than $3M to support upwards of 180,000 children.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Dream Mile is for anyone who would like to walk or run a few miles to help realize the dreams of millions of underprivileged children.

What are the Race Distances?
* The Dream Mile 2025 consists of 5K, 10K, and HALF MARATHON running events, in addition to a KID'S 5K WALK event.
* The Kid's 5K Walk is a non-competitive and non-timed event. As such, participants will not receive a timing chip.
What is the Virtual Option?
Cannot join us at The Dream Mile on race day? Sign up for the VIRTUAL option!
* Choose the VIRTUAL option and do any challenge category.
* Run your race on your own or with your friends - any day, anywhere, anytime - between now and race day.
* Email proof of completion to [email protected].
* Pick up your medal and t-shirt at one of the bib distribution locations.
HIGHLIGHTS:
* 5K/10K/Half Marathon courses
* Professional chip-based timing
* Half Marathon Pacers for 7 different pace groups to help achieve your HM PR
* T-shirts for all registered participants (unless you opt out)
* Finisher medals for all distances for registered participants
_* In case the in-person event is CANCELED due to any UNFORESEEN circumstances, the event will be held VIRTUALLY. NO REFUNDS will be provided._
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The online registration will be open till Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Please register by April 15th to guarantee your t-shirt size choice. After that, the t-shirt size is based on availability.
We highly recommend you register online by Friday, May 30th, to avoid disappointment due to race day registration unavailability due to your choice of race distance selling out. Only if there are any open spots left at the close of the online registration, we will offer registrations at the race packet pickup and the race day morning up to 30 minutes before the race starts.
Up to 10 participants can register together in a single registration transaction. For more than 10 participants registering together, please do multiple registration transactions.
