The WICC [https://www.wicc600.com/] & Surfside Hotel [https://www.thesurfside.com/] BLUES ARE RUNNING 5K - YEAR TWO! is hosted by WICC, The Surfside Hotel & Little Pub in the Lordship section of Stratford. The Surfside Hotel & Little Pub overlooks Long Island Sound as does most of the course!

Join us Sunday, August 10th for a great morning of fun, food & froth, followed by a more fun at the Little Pub.

Run or walk our beautiful 5K (3.11mi) course overlooking Long Island Sound.

Sponsored by WICC, The Surfside Hotel & Little Pub, THIS EVENT WILL HAVE A STRICT CUTOFF AT 250 PEOPLE. Register early, enjoy the beach and views, run/walk or saunter our very flat and scenic out and back roads, followed by snacks & adult beverages (21+ only). Plenty of N/A options available too.

SIZE GUARANTEED CLASSIC T-SHIRTS BY 7/31 (after 7/31 'as available' and we could run out! Don't be disappointed).

We encourage ALL abilities to join us. Everyone completing the full 5K is eligible for awards based on their computer time.

There are over 300 Connecticut children waiting for their wishes to be granted who count on donors like you to help make their wish come true.

_SUMMER SHOULD BE A TIME OF JOY FOR CHILDREN, BUT WISH KIDS OFTEN MISS OUT DUE TO THEIR ILLNESS, CREATING A DARK CHAPTER DURING A TIME THAT SHOULD BE FILLED WITH SUNSHINE AND MEMORIES._

A wish can change everything for these children - giving them the strength and hope they need to persevere in their fight against critical illness. The summertime is Make-A-Wish Connecticut's busiest wish-granting season, but it can also be a time when we receive the least amount of financial support. With over 300 kids waiting for their wishes to be granted, we need your help!
