Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2026 Corydon Old Settlers Race, happening on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, in the charming town of Corydon, Iowa! This exciting annual event is part of the vibrant Corydon Old Settlers town celebration and serves as a fantastic fundraiser for the Wayne JH/HS Cross Country Programs. Participants can choose from three thrilling race distances: a 2-mile walk, a 5K, or a 10K, all starting and finishing near the historic Wayne Theater located at 110 N Franklin St.
Registration is just $20 plus a convenience fee for online entries until 5:00 pm on August 7th, with race day registration available for $25 from 6:45 am to 7:30 am. Every entrant will receive a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last), and the overall male and female winners for each distance will take home a trophy! Plus, medals will be awarded to the top two finishers in the 5K and 10K across multiple age categories. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit in Corydon!

Organiser's Description
Annual Corydon Old Settlers Race. This race will serve as a fundraiser for the Wayne JH/HS Cross Country Programs. The race is held in Corydon, Iowa and is a part of the annual Corydon Old Settlers town celebration. The race will start and finish near the Wayne Theater (110 N Franklin St, Corydon IA)
Registration for all races is $20 + convenience fee for on-line registration up until 5:00 pm on Friday, August 7th. Race day registration will be available from 6:45 am - 7:30 am for $25. ALL ENTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT WITH THEIR ENTRY (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST)
The overall male/female winners of the 2-mile walk, 5K and 10K will receive a trophy. There will also be medals for the top 2 finishers for the 5K and 10K in each of the following age groups:
0-13 (M/F)
14-19 (M/F)
20-29 (M/F)
30-39 (M/F)
40-49 (M/F)
50-59 (M/F)
