Get ready for a festive and fun-filled Thanksgiving tradition at the 44th Iroquois Hill Runners Thanksgiving Day Run on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in beautiful Louisville, Jefferson! Join fellow runners and walkers as you take on a scenic five-mile course or opt for the exciting 5K with Stuffing Run/Walk and a family-friendly 1.25 Mile Run/Walk. Kick off your Thanksgiving morning at Iroquois Park with the 5 Mile Run starting at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:05 AM and the 1.25 Mile Run/Walk at 9:10 AM.
Not only will participants enjoy an invigorating run, but they can also compete for fantastic awards and prizes, including cash prizes for overall male and female winners in the 5 Mile Run and 5K. Don’t miss the creative costume contest, with a grand prize of $50 for the best outfit! Each entrant will receive a high-quality long sleeve shirt, and the first 1,500 participants will earn a medal. So grab your running shoes, put on your favorite holiday costume, and join in on the fun this Thanksgiving Day!

RACE SWAG
Each Entrant will receive a top-quality long sleeve shirt and entry in drawing. First 1,500 entrants will receive a medal.
ENTRY FEES
* $30 early sign up. Online before October 15th. Register by Oct 15th and pick up early to guarantee shirt size. We cannot guarantee shirt size for race day packet pickup.
* $35 after Oct 15th. Online before Nov 15th.
* $40 after Nov 15th . Online prior to the start of the race.
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pick up is Tuesday & Wednesday (November 26th & 27th) Thanksgiving week at Swag's South End Store. They are open 10 AM-7 PM. Swag's Sport Shoes south end location [https://www.swagssportshoes.com/]. Race Day pickup also available on site for those who can't make it out to Swag's, although early pickup is highly encouraged.
RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP
Race Day Packet Pickup will close 15 minutes before the 5 Miler start at 9:00 AM
PETS
Pets are allowed on the race course. For safety purposes, all pets must be leashed and runners with pets must start at the back of the runners and stay on the right side of the road.
PARKING
There is limited parking available in the Iroquois Amphitheater Lot during the event. Please do not drive or park on grass areas in Iroquois Park.
Overflow parking is available in Colonial Gardens, 818 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214 and DeSales High School, 425 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214, which is a short walk to the Start and Finish Line.
