Bailey's Heart & Sole annual 5k is now in motion.
Bailey's Annual Heart & Sole 5K Charity Run/Walk will be held on October 27th , at the Ma and Pa Trail (Williams's Street entrance). The event will start with a dynamic warm-up to prepare the participants for the day. The event will be a timed shotgun race, and after the run, participants can grab water and snacks while cheering on others. The day will end with a group picture and the announcement of the winners.
Bailey Bullock was only 16 when he died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest on May 12, 2021. Since then, the Bailey's Heart and Soul Foundation has worked effortlessly to ensure that Sudden Cardiac Arrest becomes a household name and that our school community is equipped to respond to SCA.
On April 25th, 2024, Gov. Wes Moore signed the Bailey Bullock Act into law to ensure that ALL Maryland schools have Cardiac Emergency Action Plans in place to respond timely to cardiac emergencies.
Please consider registering for this 5K! Proceeds support CPR and AED teaching, fund AED campaigns and sponsor scholarships for high school graduates.
