Join us for the inaugural Chicken Chase 5000 in Rockwall, TX, on Sunday, September 7, 2025! This exciting event is all about fun and community spirit, as we race to end world hunger. Runners will tackle a lively 5K course and can look forward to receiving a unique rubber chicken finisher medal upon completion. Those who place in the top three of their age group will also earn an additional medal, making this a fantastic opportunity to showcase your running skills.
But that's not all! Families can bring their little ones to participate in our brand-new Kid's Dash, a short 100-200 meter sprint designed to introduce kids to the joy of racing in a low-pressure environment. Each kiddo will receive a participation shirt and has the option to earn a finisher medal as well. With age group awards for runners from ages 0 to 80+, there’s something for everyone at the Chicken Chase 5000. Be sure to register by August 24 to secure your t-shirt size and join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community camaraderie—all while supporting a worthy cause!

Our _FIRST ANNUAL_ "RACE TO END WORD HUNGER" event will be none other than... THE CHICKEN CHASE 5000!! Finishers will recieve a _UNIQUE RUBBER CHICKEN FINISHER MEDAL_! Place top three in you age group and win an _ADDITIONAL MEDAL_!
Sign your kiddos up for our BRAND NEW KID'S DASH! This is a short 100-200 meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course. Dashers receive participation shirts, and will have the option to add finisher medal to their registration.
