Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the CTA Scholarship 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in beautiful Carmel, Putnam! This exciting event kicks off at 10:00 AM at the scenic Putnam County Rail Trail, with registration open from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Paladin Center. Participants can look forward to a free Kids 1/2-mile Run at 9:45 AM, where every young runner will receive a medal for their efforts!
Join us for the 5K as we run towards Mahopac and back, with ample parking available at the Paladin Center. After the race, stick around for the post-race awards ceremony at 11:30 AM, where top finishers will be recognized and age group award medals will be given out. Plus, the first 300 runners to sign up will receive a commemorative T-shirt! Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from this event will support scholarships for graduating Carmel High School seniors, with the CTA proudly offering 30 scholarships of $1,000 each this year.
