THE FIGHTING BACK AGAINST PARKINSON'S 5K & 1-MILE FUN RUN is a fundraiser to support Rock Steady Boxing 270, a non-contact boxing and fitness program designed to empower people with Parkinson's Disease. Through strength, movement, and community, RSB270 helps individuals fight back against Parkinson's, improving their quality of life one punch at a time.
Founded by Christin Broadwater in honor of her father (the late LC Cooley) and those like him who have fought or continue to fight Parkinson's Disease, this event brings together runners, walkers, and supporters to stand in the corner of those battling PD. Now in its 5TH YEAr, we're excited to continue growing, inspiring, and making an impact-together.
Join us on JUNE 7, 2025, AT 8 AM as we trade in our boxing gloves for running shoes at a new location with a new racecourse, but the same fight against Parkinson's!
