Hosted in collaboration with the Lansing School District, Kids Run Lansing will be held at participating elementary schools, offering sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for one hour after school. Each session includes coaching from Certified Good Form Running Coaches, who will guide kids through the essential techniques of running while ensuring they have fun along the way. Organiser's Description
Kids Run Lansing is a FREE after school running program designed to teach kids the foundations of running with Good Form and build a life long love of the sport and fitness. The Playmakers Fitness Foundation, in collaboration with the Lansing School District, will run this program at participating Lansing School District elementary schools.
The program will run for one hour after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays - a snack will be provided.
PARENT PICK UP IS REQUIRED.
Kids will be coached in running and proper form through Playmakers' Kid's Running Club curriculum by Certified Good Form Running Coaches. By the end of the program, all kids will complete a 2 mile fun run finale!
