This family-friendly event features a scenic 5K race that kicks off on Main Street in front of St. Peter's Catholic Church and winds through the picturesque neighborhoods, including Oklahoma and along Cleveland Road West. With a flat course and sidewalks available for walkers, it’s perfect for participants of all ages and skill levels.
Following the 5K, the excitement continues with the Kids Pumpkin Fun Run, where little ones can enjoy a fun-filled half-mile lap around the Huron/Main Street block. All young participants will receive a delightful candy treat bag, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile! Don’t forget to come in costume, as prizes will be awarded for the best outfits! Plus, all proceeds from this festive event will directly benefit the students of St. Peter School. Join us for a day of community spirit, friendly competition, and Halloween-themed fun!

Organiser's Description
The 11th Annual St. Peter Spooktacular 5k & Kids Pumpkin Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The 5K begins on Main Street in front of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and runs the streets of Huron. A relatively flat course, with sidewalk present for walkers, participants will run/walk the neighborhood of Oklahoma and the streets along Cleveland Road West and the Old Plat. Top 3 placers in each category will be awarded a prize.
The Kids Pumpkin Fun Run will take place following the 5k. It begins in front of the St. Peter School on Huron Street, and is one lap around the Huron/Main Street block, approximately 1/2 mile. All participants will be awarded a candy treat bag prize.
All participants (and spectators) are encouraged to dress in costume. Best costume awards will be given out.
100% of all funds raised from this event benefit the students of St. Peter School.

Begins heading north in front of St. Peter School (Huron Street), turns left on Mill Street, left in front of Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop on Main Street, left on Cleveland Rd E., left on Huron Street, and ends at the first entrance to the parking lot. Approx. 1/2 mile.
