Event summary
Get ready for the 2 HillForts Hill Race, organized by Out-Fit Events, taking place on Sunday 8th September 2024. The event will kick off at Plas Dolben Farm in Llangynhafal, with registration starting at 9.45am and the race beginning at 10am. This challenging course will see participants tackle 2500ft of ascent over just under 9 miles, including the stunning 2 HillForts of Moel Arthur and Penycloddiau in the Clwydian Range AONB. With water stations at miles 3.5 and 6.5, runners of all abilities are welcome to join in on the fun. Plus, all finishers will be treated to a FREE local Chilly Cow Ice Cream. Don't miss out on this fantastic event filled with beautiful scenery and a relaxed atmosphere!

2 HillForts returns in 2024!
Registration, Start & Finish is at Plas Dolben Farm, Llangynhafal.
Please arrive to pick up your number and timing tag by 9.45am at the latest, ready for our 10am start.
The course is a toughie, involving 2500ft of ascent, taking in the 2 HillForts of Moel Arthur and Penycloddiau in the Clwydian Range AONB. The distance involved is just under 9 miles. There shall be a water station at miles' 3.5 and 6.5.
Runners of all ability are invited to take part, you'll receive a warm welcome and I'm confident that everyone will enjoy the beautiful route, and a relaxed event atmosphere!
