There are adventure races taking place in the UK throughout the rest of 2026, with events currently scheduled into October. The calendar covers quite a broad range of challenges, from obstacle-style races such as the Inflatable 5K to longer endurance events including the Atlantic Coast Ultra. More races are already appearing for 2027 too.

An adventure race might take a few hours or stretch over several days, depending on the format you choose. At the shorter end, obstacle-style events such as an Inflatable 5K can be completed in a morning. Longer challenges can involve a full day out or even several stages, like the Cotswold Way Challenge, which covers 100 miles over four days. Check the event information carefully, because the name ‘adventure race’ covers a much wider range of formats than a standard road race.
