Course Details
The circuit travels in the Kilimanjaro National Park. The surface is a mix of dirt tracks and trails in various environments; humid rainforest up to 2500m, drier heather forest, up to 3500m, and rockier afro-alpine landscape near to 4000m, so multipurpose trail footwear is recommended.
The highest point is 3600 m (marathon) 3600 m (half marathon) and 2300 m in 10 k. The starting point in Londorosi Gate is an altitude of 2300 m approx.
The itinerary is one-way and return with two round boucles and the finish line is common for Marathon, half marathon, and 10k.
